Why should I have regular Chiropractic care?

Regular Chiropractic care offers several potential benefits for individuals seeking a holistic approach to their health.

Firstly, it can provide relief from chronic pain conditions such as back pain, neck pain and tension headaches, this is done by re-aligning the spine and therefore improving nerve function.

Additionally, Chiropractic adjustments can enhance joint mobility and flexibility, therefore reducing the risk of injuries in future, which will contribute to your overall physical performance.

Some studies have demonstrated that Chiropractic care can also contribute to a better immune system function, a properly aligned spine allows an efficient communication between the brain and the body’s immune system. Improved posture and reduced stress are also common outcomes of having regular Chiropractic care, which can lead to enhanced mental and emotional wellbeing.

If you are looking at a way to optimise your health and wellbeing then you should think about Chiropractic care.

Chest and shoulder stretches

This season it is a good idea to start focusing on maintaining flexibility and good posture, you can do this by stretching the Chest & Shoulders, this will help to alleviate tension that you can feel in the neck and can radiate to the back of the head and trap muscles, stretching will also contribute to a healthier spine. Try to incorporate some chest stretches into your routine, especially if you have a lifestyle where you spend a lot of time sitting for work, if you do these exercises for the next few weeks then you should start to see some improvements.

Embrace the Harvest – Autumnal vegetables are your power source

Autumn in the UK brings an array of delicious seasonal vegetables, that not only taste good, but also offer a healthy dose of essential vitamins.

Root vegetables such as Carrots, Parsnips and Sweet Potatoes thrive during this season, providing ample Vitamin A which supports immune health and vision. Broccoli and Cauliflower are both rich in Vitamin C, our beloved Brussel Sprouts offer a hearty dose of Vitamin K, which is essential for blood clotting and bone health.

Pumpkins and Butternut Squash provide Vitamin E which is good for your skin and immunity.

Therefore, next time you are food shopping, don’t be afraid to pick up some of these vegetables and try to cook something different, nutritious and delicious, here is a recipe for you to try that we love to eat at this time of year

Vegan pumpkin soup
…I had one pumpkin that grew on my allotment , then I made a poll on instagram and people voted for…pumpkin soup😋

So here it is : Vegan Pumpkin soup recipe

You are going to use: 1kg of peeled, cubed and roasted (I used air fryer!) pumpkin.

Fry 1 onion with 2 garlic cloves and 1tsp of ginger using 1 tbsp of coconut oil, then add 1tsp of thyme, 1/2 tsp of cayenne pepper. Add 400ml of coconut milk and 1 and 1/2 cup of vegetable stock keep boiling in a slow temperature.

Time to add roasted pumpkin and simmer for another 10 min. Blend it all alot to get creamy texture, season with salt and pepper and enjoy with sprinkle of pumpkin seeds.

Please rememeber that we also offer LightForce Deep Tissue Laser Treatment which can help with pain relief of acute and chronic conditions like:

Shoulder pain
Neck pain
Jaw pain
Fibromyalgia
Sciatica
Arthritis
Elbow and joint pain
Plantar Fasciitis to name but a few!

Upper Chest Massage to improve your posture:
Deep Tissue Massage can offer numerous benefits to the muscles of the chest which are affected with poor posture. If you target the deep layers of muscle tissue, this can help to relieve tension and ‘knots’ that can often accumulate in the chest area.

Releasing the chest area can improve flexibility and allow a greater range of motion in the shoulders and upper body, this is in turn can alleviate rounded shoulders and hunched posture, promoting better alignment.

Additionally releasing muscular tension in the chest can relieve pressure on the spine, therefore not only enhancing physical appearance but preventing the development of musculoskeletal issues and associated pain in years to come.

Having a regular Deep Tissue Massage can play a vital role in maintaining a balanced, upright posture which is important for your long-term health.
