Say Hello to Physiotherapy at Our Clinic!

Physiotherapy offers a wide range of benefits, particularly when it comes to enhancing mobility, managing pain, and improving overall physical function. We are happy that we can offer this service at Wellbeing Chiropractic Health Centre.

Here are some of the key benefits:

  • Pain Relief
  • Improved mobility and flexibility
  • Injury Prevention
  • Improved Posture
  • Increase in muscle strength and endurance

Types of Physiotherapy treatment modalities available:

Ultrasound Therapy
A non-invasive method using high-frequency sound waves to promote healing and reduce inflammation. It’s especially effective for soft tissue injuries and chronic pain.

Benefits: Reduces inflammation, improves circulation, breaks down scar tissue, relaxes muscles, and speeds recovery.

TENS (Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation)
A small device sends gentle, low-voltage, electrical impulses through the skin to stimulate the nerve and block pain signals. TENS is commonly used for both acute and chronic pain management, providing relief for a variety of conditions. TENS can be combined with manual therapy (e.g., joint mobilization, massage) and exercise therapy (e.g., strengthening or stretching exercises) to provide a comprehensive pain management approach.

Benefits: Effective for back pain, arthritis, migraines, sciatica, and post-surgery recovery. It also relaxes muscles and improves joint mobility.

Resistance Band Exercises
Used to strengthen muscles, restore flexibility, support rehabilitation and improve range of motion. Different band levels target muscle groups progressively.

Benefits: Builds strength and endurance, improves balance, posture, and range of motion.

Soft Tissue Release (STR)

Manual therapy targeting muscle stiffness, tightness and muscle imbalances by applying specific manual pressure and stretching the soft tissue. STR is an effective way to address muscle tension and restricted movement, promoting healing and improving range of motion.

Benefits: Relieves tension, improves flexibility, supports post-injury recovery, and corrects posture.
